I feel it's thappad to the amma's who raise their sons insensitively towards women,
it's thappad to amma's again who always ask their daughter to compromise, sacrifice for the sake of social pressures.
it's thappad to normal Indian wives ( perhaps other country's too) who never ask or set expectations for their self respect,dignity...or get pleasures out in making family comforts by sacrifying everything.
Yes it's thappad to all men (nannas and husbands) who by default think that wife and daughter role is to please their family irrespective of their education, achievements.. capabilities.
(As per current societal norms above all are small things before the achievement of giving water or coffee to the home returned husband ). Often they are ignorant about what all was sacrificed by wife also.
